The Future of Global Immunization: Will the Promise of Vaccines be Fulfilled?

Childhood immunization is one of the most successful and cost-effective of all health interventions, especially for reducing infant and child morbidity and mortality globally. Still, nearly two million children die of vaccine-preventable deaths each year. This report, published by the Center for Strategic and International Studies Global Health Policy Center, outlines 10 issues that are critical to the success or failure of reaching these children in the next decade of global immunization.
