Understanding Influenza Vaccine Performance Among Children in Senegal

This fact sheet describes a Phase 2 influenza vaccine clinical study that PATH and its partners are conducting in Senegal. The study seeks to better understand the performance of seasonal influenza vaccines in a tropical, low-resource region of the country. Overall, the results from this study will provide evidence to support larger research efforts to determine the most feasible and efficient ways of protecting populations in tropical, developing Africa from influenza through the use of vaccines.
