Data for Management: It’s Not Just Another Report
This policy paper addresses the many challenges in data collection and quality within the vaccine supply chain, and discusses the global shift toward data visualization and utilization for improved decision making. Mozambique is used as a case study that shows how specific changes in their data collection practices, the introduction of an information system for enhanced data visualization, and by creating a systematized processes for data utilization, have led to a more efficient vaccine supply chain and higher vaccine coverage rates. The paper also identifies other real-world examples of global innovations for vaccine data management.
