Assessing the Total Cost of Ownership for Cold Chain Equipment

Total cost of ownership refers to all costs associated with owning and operating a unit of equipment over its life expectancy. This tool is designed to assist decision-makers in evaluating available cold chain equipment options from a cost perspective. It allows for country-specific customization for modeling capital and operating expenses. Included is an overview presentation, which outlines PATH’s work in vaccine and pharmaceutical technologies and explains how to use the Total Cost of Ownership tool, as well as the tool itself (MS Excel file). Please note that the tool is not Mac compatible.
