RSV Vaccine Use – The Missing Data

This article, published in Expert Review of Vaccines, explains the need for more data and knowledge on respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) epidemiology in different settings and age groups, as well as virus transmission and healthcare costs of the disease. The authors note that RSV is the single most important vaccine-preventable disease without a vaccine program, and that more data are needed to inform optimal approaches to disease control through vaccination.
