This interactive data visualization tool tells the full story behind the global burden of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli and Shigella, the two leading bacterial causes of diarrhea. The visualization features a new set of global disease burden estimates—including cases, deaths, and long-term consequences—as well as subnational estimates for 11 African countries, which were developed by PATH and the University of Florida.
