The Switch in the Americas

In 2016, 155 countries and territories from around the world participated in an unprecedented coordinated global health effort to switch one type of polio vaccine for another as part of polio eradication efforts. This 12-minute video explains the fundamentals of why the world switched polio vaccines and how the countries in the Americas planned, implemented, and supervised the process.
