The Cost of Cervical Cancer Prevention in Low- and Lower-Middle-Income Countries
This briefing paper discusses estimates of the cost and health impact of cervical cancer prevention (including human papillomavirus vaccination, screening, and preventive treatment) in countries with a per capita gross domestic product less than US$2,585. The results of these model estimates underscore the urgent need for the continued prioritization of cervical cancer control and prevention on global health and development agendas.
