malERA–An Updated Research Agenda for Malaria Elimination and Eradication

This supplement to PLoS Medicine contains seven articles that set out a multi-disciplinary research and development agenda to accelerate progress toward malaria elimination and global eradication. An update to the 2011 Malaria Eradication Research Agenda (malERA), the malERA Refresh special collection addresses scientific achievements made, and outlines crucial areas for innovation in vaccine development, iterative improvements in vector control, and other interventions.
