Advocacy and communications

No other health tool has been as cost-effective and successful at saving lives as vaccines, particularly among children. But many people in developing countries still lack access to vaccines. Evidence-based advocacy—an effort to shape policy and influence decision-makers—and communication efforts are critical components in the fight against vaccine-preventable diseases.

PATH and its partners work to ensure that people everywhere have access to affordable, effective vaccines, giving them the opportunity to raise healthy families and build thriving communities. Visit PATH’s website to learn more about its work to create a policy environment that supports good health, including news pieces about work on vaccines and immunization advocacy. All of PATH’s advocacy resources related to vaccines and immunization are available in the VRL.
